New Jersey based visual rock band Ossu formed in 2010 with members Kenji (Christopher Fuentes), Artemis (Evan Mydlowski), Benkei (Ben Knudson) and Xero (Scott Lettera).
The band united with the goal of creating a unique style of american visual rock, largely inspired by the Japanese Visual Kei artists of the 90’s and new millennium. The name “Ossu” is a slang Japanese greeting, chosen as the name because the band’s members feel that their music is how they greet and interact with the world. Ossu believes that a band performance should be just as expressive visually as it is musically, and as such all members take pride in their edgy appearance on stage.
Ossu feels that, above all, music should be moving. The highest art is the one that connects people.
