Men and love. Nowadays 47 % of 30-34 year-old Japanese men are not married. Compared to 1990, this percentage has increased by 15 %.
A current study has revealed that salaries play a significant role. When Japanese earn about 3 million yen (26,000 euros), it`s likelier that they get married. When they earn little money, it`s likelier that they get divorced: “If you lose your money, you`ll lose your wife.”
63.7 % of unmarried Japanese men don`t even have a partner – because they don`t find one. Many Japanese say that they don`t have many opportunities to meet someone, most of the time they`re in the office.
127 million people live in Japan. It`s estimated that this number will drop to 95 million people by 2050.
